Police officer who leaked information to fugitive FETÖ member Cevheri Güven arrested
Police officer Serkan Dinçer, who was determined to have leaked official documents published on social media by Fethullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) member Cevheri Güven, has been arrested, and numerous digital materials have been seized.
Police officer Serkan Dinçer, who worked in the technical unit of the Ankara Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Division and was found to have leaked information to FETÖ fugitive Cevheri Güven, has been apprehended.
During searches conducted at Dinçer's home and workplace, his digital materials were seized; it was learned that he did not provide the passwords for his three phones and tablet during his interrogation.
Police officer Dinçer was arrested by the judgeship before which he was brought, and it was learned that investigations are ongoing to identify other police officers with whom the suspect was connected within the police department.
