Political communicator Evren Barış Yavuz, who was under investigation for 'inciting the public to hatred and hostility' and 'inciting to commit a crime,' was detained in the morning and taken to the police station, after which a decision was made to arrest him.
Following the Ministry of Trade's announcement of export restrictions to Israel, political communicator Evren Barış Yavuz, who shared a photo from a Palestine rally featuring Selçuk Bayraktar and his brother Haluk Bayraktar with the caption "They sold jet fuel," was detained today and arrested in the evening.
Political communicator Evren Barış Yavuz, who was under investigation for 'inciting the public to hatred and hostility' and 'inciting to commit a crime,' had been detained at his home this morning. Yavuz was referred to the prosecutor's office after giving his statement at the police station.
The prosecutor's office added the charge of 'terrorist organization propaganda' to the initial charges and referred him to the judgeship with a request for his arrest.

The Ministry of Trade imposed export restrictions on 54 product groups to Israel on April 9.
The inclusion of 'aviation gasoline and jet fuel' among the restricted products became a major topic of discussion.
Political communicator Evren Barış Yavuz also shared a photo on the social media platform X (Twitter) from a Palestine rally organized by government supporters and wrote, "They sold jet fuel."
The photo, which included many people, also featured Boğaziçi University Rector Naci İnci and the owners of the UCAV manufacturer 'Baykar,' AKP President Erdoğan's son-in-law Selçuk Bayraktar and his brother Haluk Bayraktar.
Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar shared a screenshot of Yavuz's post on X and claimed that Yavuz was 'part of the team' of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
