Politicians offer condolences on the death of İsmailağa Community leader Hasan Kılıç: 'To Hocaefendi...'

İsmailağa Community leader Hasan Kılıç has passed away. Following Kılıç's death, figures from the political sphere, including Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, former People's Alliance Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Murat Kurum, AKP MKYK member Mahir Ünal, AKP Fatih Mayor Mehmet Ergün Turan, and HÜDA-PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, shared their condolences via their X accounts.

"DEVOTED HIS LIFE TO ISLAM"

Former People's Alliance Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Murat Kurum conveyed his condolences with the following words:

"I learned with deep sorrow of the passing of our esteemed Islamic scholar Hasan Kılıç, one of Turkey's spiritual leaders, who devoted his life to Islam.

I pray for God's mercy upon our esteemed teacher and offer my condolences to his family, loved ones, and students.

May his place be paradise and his station be elevated."

AKP MKYK member Mahir Ünal commemorated Kılıç as a "spiritual leader" and stated the following:

"LEARNED WITH SORROW"

AKP Fatih Mayor Mehmet Ergün Turan stated that Kılıç's funeral would be held at the Fatih Mosque and expressed his sadness as follows:

"I learned with sorrow of the passing of the esteemed Hasan Kılıç Hocaefendi, who dedicated his life to Islam, a man of knowledge and wisdom, and one of the spiritual guides of our heartland.

I pray for God's mercy upon our esteemed teacher; I offer my condolences to his family, loved ones, and students.

May his place be paradise and his station be elevated, God willing.

His funeral will be held tomorrow at the Fatih Mosque following the afternoon prayer."
