Preliminary autopsy report released: Bekir Karasu was strangled to death

The lifeless body of Professor Bekir Karasu, who had been missing for 5 days in Eskişehir, was found in the Porsuk Stream with his hands tied behind his back. As new details about the incident emerge, it has been determined that Karasu had gone on a trip with a group on the day of the incident and had picked up a group of 5 people in his vehicle.

The preliminary autopsy report determined that Karasu was strangled to death.

According to NTV's report, teams examining security cameras have taken 5 suspects into custody, while 2 suspects are still being sought. 

While security cameras were examined one by one by the teams, mobile phone signals were also tracked.

HE PICKED UP 5 PEOPLE IN HIS VEHICLE

It was determined that the professor had picked up 5 people in his vehicle before he went missing.

It is understood that Bekir Karasu had gone on a trip with a group on the day of the incident and was robbed by the group, who had initially established a friendly bond with him.

In the footage watched, it was seen that 5 suspects got into the same vehicle with Karasu.

The vehicle belonging to Karasu, which was found abandoned, had also been stolen.

While 7 suspects have been identified in connection with the incident, 5 people have been taken into custody.

The 2 missing suspects are being sought.
