Presidency responds to claims that 'YKS questions were shared before the exam'
The Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) has announced that claims suggesting Higher Education Institutions Examination (2024 YKS) questions were shared on social media platforms before the exam are unfounded.
DMM issued a statement on its social media account regarding claims that "YKS questions were shared on social media platforms before the exam" and the images circulating on social media on this subject.
The statement included the following:
"As a result of the investigations, it has been determined that the shared screenshots and photos have no connection to the 2024 YKS. It has been identified that many of the images in question were taken from practice exams on the General Directorate of Secondary Education (OGM) 'material web' site or from practice exam booklets prepared by certain private educational institutions. Furthermore, it is observed that some images that circulated with similar claims in previous years are being shared again with allegations such as 'the questions were stolen or sold'."
