President Erdoğan addresses youth: We have overcome many obstacles together

Erdoğan made important statements at the Iftar program with KYK Students, Athletes, and Youth.

Here are the highlights from the statements of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan:

My dear young brother, I would like to express this once again today with all my sincerity, from the heart and soul: Throughout my political life spanning half a century, I have always walked with the youth. I have attached great importance to being comrades in cause and struggle with the youth. I have valued this. Frankly, as a politician, I have always been honored by this.

The enthusiasm, energy, dynamism, and sincere support of you, our youth, have been our greatest source of motivation in every period of our political struggle.

When we won the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality elections despite all the impossibilities, the youth were the ones most by our side. When we were entering Pınarhisar Prison because of a poem we recited, the youth were again the ones most present in the flood of people who saw us off.

When we founded the Justice and Development Party as the hope of the nation on August 14, 2001, the youth were the ones most by our side. Since November 3, 2002, the youth have always been by our side, not only in elections but in every difficult struggle we have entered.

We have overcome many obstacles together with you.
