President Erdoğan holds phone call with Austrian Chancellor Stocker
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker.
During the phone call between President Erdoğan and Austrian Chancellor Stocker, bilateral relations between Turkey and Austria, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.
In the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that Turkey and Austria should efficiently utilize their potential in the fields of trade and investment, and that they would continue to take steps to develop cooperation.
President Erdoğan expressed that Turkey is making efforts to bring an end to wars, that the opportunity that has emerged to end the war between Russia and Ukraine should not be squandered, and that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached catastrophic dimensions, emphasizing the importance of delivering urgent humanitarian aid to the region as soon as possible.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that Turkey continues its efforts to ensure lasting stability in Syria, and that increasing social and economic prosperity is of great importance for ensuring the return of Syrian refugees to their homelands.
