President Erdoğan holds phone call with Senegalese counterpart
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
According to information received from the Directorate of Communications, during the phone call between President Erdoğan and Senegalese President Faye, the leaders discussed Turkey-Senegal bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues.
President Erdoğan stated that they would continue to make efforts for the two countries to reach their mutual trade volume target, expressing that developing cooperation in many areas, especially in investment, is important in this process.
President Erdoğan also noted that it is of critical importance for the two countries to accelerate their relations in the field of defense industry, and that Turkey will continue to take steps with a "win-win" approach.
