President Erdoğan makes condolence call to martyr's father
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Ünal Aykut, the father of Air Petty Officer İlker Aykut, who was martyred in a military cargo plane crash in Georgia, and conveyed his condolences to the family in the Muratlı district of Tekirdağ.

Wishing the Aykut family patience and fortitude, President Erdoğan said, "My condolences. I wish the whole family strength. They are in the ranks of martyrs, neighbors to our Prophet. May God be our helper and protector, God willing."
The martyr's father replied, "May our homeland be safe."
