President Erdoğan makes condolence call to martyr's father

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Ünal Aykut, the father of the martyred Air Petty Officer İlker Aykut, who lives in the Muratlı district.

AK Party Tekirdağ Deputy Mestan Özcan accompanied the martyr's father.

Wishing the Aykut family patience and fortitude, President Erdoğan said, "My condolences. I wish the whole family strength. They are in the ranks of martyrs, neighbors to our Prophet. May God be our helper and protector, God willing."

The martyr's father replied, "May our homeland be safe."
