President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Turkish heart surgeon Prof. Dr. Mehmet Öz, who lives in the USA.
President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Turkish heart surgeon Prof. Dr. Mehmet Öz, who lives in the USA.
According to the statement made by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, Erdoğan met with Prof. Dr. Öz at the AK Party Headquarters.
AK Party Istanbul Deputy Halit Yerebakan was also present at the meeting.
HE HAD SAID HE WOULD RENOUNCE HIS TURKISH CITIZENSHIP
Öz had announced in 2022 that if he were to enter the Senate as the Republican candidate from the state of Pennsylvania, he would renounce his Turkish citizenship.
Öz did not win the Senate election.
