President Erdoğan meets with Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continues his contacts in Washington D.C., the capital of the USA, where he arrived to attend the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government.

President Erdoğan met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis within the scope of the summit at the Walter E. Convention Center, where the summit is being held.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Greece, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed. President Erdoğan stated during the meeting that Turkey continues its efforts to develop a spirit of solidarity with Greece based on the principle of good neighborliness and that these efforts will continue to increase.

President Erdoğan also noted that positive efforts to end the conflicts in Ukraine and Palestine should be increased, and that it would be beneficial for all countries in the region to work towards ensuring peace in these geographies.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security, were also present at the meeting.
