President Erdoğan receives Lebanese Prime Minister Mikati
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the Türkevi in New York, where he arrived for the 79th United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Lebanon, Israel's attacks on Lebanon and Palestine, and regional and global issues were discussed.
President Erdoğan stated during the meeting that Turkey stands with Lebanon, which is being targeted by Israel, and that the international community must urgently implement a solution to stop Israeli aggression.
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan noted that Israel disregards fundamental human rights and is committing genocide before the eyes of the world, and that stopping this and ending the humanitarian crisis caused by the attacks is a duty of humanity.
