President Erdoğan speaks with German Chancellor Scholz
Erdoğan stated that the new process is important for the unity, solidarity, and territorial integrity of Syria.
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
The following was noted in the statement made by the Directorate of Communications:
"Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, held a phone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The latest situation in Syria, as well as regional and global developments, were discussed during the call.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that the new process is important for the unity, solidarity, and territorial integrity of Syria, and that Turkey will continue to work toward the goal of a Syria cleared of terrorism. President Erdoğan expressed that it is Turkey's priority to create the necessary and sufficient conditions to facilitate the return of Syrians who have been displaced from their homes due to the civil war in the country."
