President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The leaders discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Iran as well as regional issues.
During the call, President Erdoğan stated that he is closely following the events in Iran, that Turkey values the peace and stability of Iran, and that Turkey has never looked favorably upon scenarios of foreign intervention in Iran.
President Erdoğan emphasized that resolving problems and preventing the escalation of tension in the region is also in Turkey's interest.
