President Erdoğan: The Century of Türkiye will also be the century of you, our children

Erdoğan made statements at an iftar program held at the Haliç Congress Center with children under state protection.

Highlights from President Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

"I would like to thank those who brought us together with you, our precious brothers and sisters, and our very valuable children on such a meaningful day. Along with those in this hall, I kiss all our children on their eyes.

"WE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE"

I send our love to our brothers and sisters across our heartland, especially in Gaza and Syria. I pray to the Almighty that your joy and excitement never diminish, and that the smile on your faces never fades throughout your lives. You are our children, the apple of our eye. Our state will continue to do whatever is necessary to prepare you for life in the strongest and most well-equipped way possible. We will look after you with compassion and will not leave any of you alone in the face of life. God willing, you will serve your country tomorrow as artists, scientists, doctors, and engineers.

My dear children, life is a long and narrow road. There may be ups and downs on this journey. These are quite natural, but a person's greatest strength is their faith and determination. I implore you not to let any negativity come between you and your dreams. You are the future. You are the future of us and our nation. You are the hope not only of us, but of 85 million people. Do not have any worries or fears. God willing, our tomorrows will be more beautiful. Türkiye will reach better levels in every field. The Century of Türkiye will also be the century of you, our children. I, as the President of Türkiye, believe in you. I trust your joy of living to the fullest."
