President Erdoğan: Those who direct youth to the streets will lose

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements at the Youth Festival program held at the Istanbul Basketball Development Center.

I am deeply honored to be your companion on this journey. You, the youth, represent the bright future of Turkey. When I look at you, I see hope, love, compassion, and the rich heritage of a great civilization. Each of you is the future of this country. I thank my Lord for granting me the opportunity to walk this path with young people like you. We are not an ordinary state or nation.

WE WERE REBORN FROM OUR ASHES EVERY TIME

We lost our lands up to Ankara, but we did not lose our hope. We regrouped after every defeat, and we were reborn from our ashes every time. This noble nation does not resemble other nations. We are a nation that thinks big. We are a nation that does not get stuck in the details of every issue, but sees and calculates the big picture.

WE ARE STRIVING FOR PEACE

Let others get lost in the details; we will look beyond the horizon. Our eyes are on Gaza, on Russia-Ukraine. We are striving one by one for peace and tranquility. We are working day and night to stop the bloodshed. There is a Turkey whose star is shining on a global scale; there is a Turkey that manages events rather than watching them from the stands. We are embracing our past with the bridges of affection we have built from Turkestan to Europe.

THOSE WHO DID NOT CRITICIZE THE TERRORIST ORGANIZATION SUDDENLY REMEMBERED ITS BLOODY PAST

We are taking sensitive and decisive steps to save our country from this scourge, and we will reach the goal of a 'Terror-Free Turkey'. Those who have not criticized the terrorist organization for years have suddenly remembered the organization's bloody past. While they were sipping their whiskey on the Bosphorus and playing at being revolutionaries, they drew strength from terror and tried to derive power for themselves from terror.

WE PAID A HEAVY PRICE BECAUSE OF THEIR WHIMS
