President Erdoğan to embark on Asia tour
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay official visits to Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan between February 10-13, 2025.
Communications Director Fahrettin Altun stated in a post on social media that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay official visits to Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan between February 10-13, 2025, in response to invitations received.
Altun said, "During the meetings to be held within the scope of the visits, our bilateral relations with the aforementioned countries will be reviewed in all their dimensions, and joint steps will be determined to further advance existing cooperation through concrete projects."
Stating that after his visit to Malaysia, which is a comprehensive strategic partner of Turkey, President Erdoğan will co-chair the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meetings with his counterparts in Indonesia and Pakistan, Altun continued as follows:
"It is envisaged that agreements will be signed in various fields and meetings will be held with business circles in order to strengthen the bilateral legal framework with the countries our President will visit. Furthermore, it is planned to exchange views on current regional and global issues, primarily Gaza, during the talks."
