President Erdoğan to visit the Netherlands
Communications Director Fahrettin Altun announced that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be in the Netherlands on June 24-25 to attend the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in The Hague.
Communications Director Fahrettin Altun's statement is as follows:
"Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will visit the Kingdom of the Netherlands on June 24-25, 2025, to attend the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in The Hague.
At the Summit, strategic-level exchanges of views will be held regarding threats and risks to the Euro-Atlantic region; a new Defense Investment Pledge aimed at increasing Allies' defense spending to the level required by the current security environment will form the main agenda of the Summit. Furthermore, the Alliance's efforts in deterrence and defense against the primary threats identified by NATO will be evaluated.
It is envisaged that our President will hold bilateral meetings with some of the participating Heads of State and Government on the margins of the Summit."
