Communications Director Burhanettin Duran stated in a post on his social media account, "Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit the United States on September 20-23, 2026, to attend the general debates of the 81st United Nations General Assembly to be held in New York.
Our President will deliver his address on September 22, the first day of the 81st General Assembly general debates, which will be held under the theme 'Rebuilding trust, managing transformation: A United Nations that produces results for everyone.'
Within the scope of his visit, our President will hold bilateral meetings with the UN Secretary-General as well as with heads of state and government from various countries.
It is also expected that our President will attend various programs involving citizen representatives residing in the US, Turkish-American business circles, and representatives of think tanks," he said.
