President Erdoğan travels to Albania

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has traveled to Tirana, the capital of Albania, to hold official talks.

Erdoğan was welcomed at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza by Albanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani, Minister of Interior Ervin Hoxha, Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu, Albanian Ambassador to Ankara Blerta Kadzadej, General Director of State Protocol Mamica Toska, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Ambassador to Tirana Tayyar Kağan Atay, and other officials.

President Erdoğan departed for the Presidential Office to hold one-on-one and inter-delegation meetings with Albanian President Bajram Begaj.

President Erdoğan, who traveled to Albania with his wife Emine Erdoğan, was accompanied by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Director İbrahim Kalın, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and President of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün.
