President Erdoğan: We are prepared against all kinds of threats

Erdoğan made statements at the 10th National Will Iftar.

Highlights from the statements of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan are as follows:

I congratulate you on the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr), which we will reach on Monday, and I hope that the upcoming Eid al-Fitr will bring goodness. Ramadan is a month of peace, solidarity, and compassion. However, it saddens us that the Islamic world is associated with wars during these blessed days.

WE HAVE GIVEN 72 THOUSAND MARTYRS IN GAZA

We have given 72 thousand martyrs in Gaza. Despite the ceasefire, Gaza has longed for peace. Since October 10, 640 people have been martyred. Children sent to school by their mothers are becoming targets of bombs and bullets. We are facing the same painful scene all across our geography.

WE WILL NOT CONSENT TO OPPRESSION

In this world suffering from a paralysis of conscience, we, as Turkey, are fighting to be the conscience of humanity. From Palestine to Arakan, we are present in places where the international community has turned its back. As long as this soul is in this body, we will not consent to oppression and we will not cower in the face of pressure.
