Mother's Day message from President Erdoğan

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a message on his social media account for Mother's Day.

Congratulating all mothers on Mother's Day, Erdoğan expressed that he also remembers all mothers who have passed away with mercy and gratitude.

Erdoğan noted the following in his post:

"As examples of beautiful virtues such as love, compassion, and sacrifice, our mothers are the most precious treasures of our lives. We must cherish this unique treasure, especially the precious mothers of our martyrs who are entrusted to us by our dear martyrs, and we must show the value we place on our mothers in the best way at every opportunity. There are very few human emotions that can be compared to a mother's compassion for her child. Today is a very meaningful opportunity not only to thank our mothers but also to remember their influence on our lives. As members of a faith that sees paradise under the feet of mothers, we must not forget that our mothers' prayers are one of our most important sources of strength while we fulfill the responsibilities and duties we have undertaken."
