Presidential appointment decrees published in the Official Gazette

With the decision published under the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the following officials at the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) have been removed from their posts: Vice Presidents Burhan İşliyen, Kadir Dinç, Selim Argun, and İbrahim Hilmi Karslı; General Manager of Hajj and Umrah Services Remzi Bircan; General Manager of Religious Services Şaban Kondi; General Manager of Foreign Relations Mahmut Özdemir; General Manager of Religious Publications Cafer Tayyar Doymaz; General Manager of Management Services Bünyamin Kahraman; General Manager of Human Resources Akif Pusmaz; Head of Strategy Development Mustafa Irmaklı; and Head of Guidance and Inspection Hasan Güçlü.

Hüseyin Hazırlar, Hafız Osman Şahin, Fatih Mehmet Karaca, Hatice Boynukalın Şenkardeşler, and Ahmet İshak Demir have been appointed as Vice Presidents of the institution. Additionally, Hüseyin Demirhan has been appointed as General Manager of Hajj and Umrah Services, Metin Akbaş as General Manager of Religious Services, Ensari Yentürk as General Manager of Foreign Relations, Hamza Bayram as General Manager of Religious Publications, Nazif Fethi Yalçınkaya as General Manager of Management Services, Sinan Kazancı as General Manager of Human Resources, Halit Güldemir as Head of Strategy Development, Mehmet Arslan as Head of Guidance and Inspection, Ertuğrul Coşkun as Chief Legal Counsel, and Emrullah Tuncel as the Istanbul Provincial Mufti.

Furthermore, the decision appoints the following as members of the High Board of Religious Affairs within the Presidency of Religious Affairs: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Köseoğlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çakır, Dr. Yahya Solmaz, and Lokman Arslan as experts on the High Board of Religious Affairs, and Dr. Fatih Mehmet Aydın and Tahir Tural as members of the High Board of Religious Affairs.

According to the decision, Specialist Dr. Eda Yiğit has been appointed as a Forensic Medicine Member of the Fifth Specialized Board of the Council of Forensic Medicine. Ahmet Erdaş has been appointed as a Labor Inspector at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

Tax Inspectors Ali Onay, Fatih Demirkıran, and İbrahim Ayyıldız have been promoted to Chief Tax Inspectors at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.

At the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Günhur Şanlı has been appointed as the Aliağa Regional Port Authority President, and Mustafa Ergüven has been appointed as the Antalya Regional Port Authority President.
