Price hike from THY angers Galatasaray fans: Rigas match ticket prices skyrocket
Fans who began searching for flight tickets for Galatasaray's Europa League match against Rigas on October 3 reacted strongly after learning that Turkish Airlines (THY) had raised prices for the flights to 7,500 TL.
UEFA Champions League play-off round, Galatasaray, which will continue its journey in the UEFA Europa League after losing to Swiss league side Young Boys over two legs, has had its European fixture list announced.
In the tournament, which will be played with 36 teams for the first time this season, Galatasaray will play its first match against Greek side PAOK on September 25. Galatasaray will play its second match against Latvian representative Rigas on October 3.
Following the announcement of the European fixture list, Galatasaray fans began searching for tickets, only to find that THY was not selling tickets.

While fans who wanted to buy the ticket, which was sold for 3 thousand 451 TL via the application, could not log into the site, it was stated that THY had made an additional price hike for the match and that the tickets had been increased to 7 thousand 500 TL.
