Prison escapee caught hiding among sacks
In the Efeler district of Aydın, a prison escapee with a 10-year finalized prison sentence was apprehended by police teams in the attic of a house, where he was hiding among sacks of socks.

According to the information obtained, an operation was carried out on the home of F.D., who escaped from the Aydın Open Penal Institution on May 1 and was wanted for a 10-year finalized prison sentence for the crimes of 'theft and escape of a convict or detainee.' The prison escapee was caught by police teams in the attic of the residence, where he was hiding among sacks of socks. After his procedures at the police station, F.D. was referred to the courthouse, where he was arrested by the judicial authorities and sent back to prison.
