Muğla's Köyceğiz Municipality has been added to the latest link in the chain of operations targeting CHP-run municipalities.
Following a complaint filed to CİMER by a municipal employee against Deputy Mayor Özgür Örnek, teams from the Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted an operation at the municipality in the morning hours under the instructions of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
As a result of the searches conducted at Köyceğiz Municipality, numerous documents and digital materials were seized, and Deputy Mayor Özgür Örnek was taken into custody at his home.
