Continuing his testimony, Çelik said, 'Haluk Levent did not use my accounts himself. He would tell me the transactions to be made, and I would perform them. He was constantly giving me instructions by phone. I was doing what he said. For example, I was trading on the stock market; he would tell me to deposit a certain amount of money into his account.

Then he would play the stock market from the application himself. I did not interfere with this part. However, to deposit money into a betting site account, the bank account must also be in your name.

That is why an account was opened in my name on a betting site. He would usually write to me saying, "place a coupon on these matches," and I would play as he said. Sometimes he would log into my betting site account and play himself, but because he did not want to deal with it, he would always tell me. Indeed, we lost as much money as the amounts mentioned.'

Stating that he did not know where the money came from, Çelik said, 'He would send me to a currency exchange in the Grand Bazaar from time to time, have me buy foreign currency and TL, and then he would deposit these into the accounts he used and make betting and stock market payments. I do not know where this money came from. He would give me a few names, and I would take the money from these people and deposit it into the accounts he specified myself at the bank. Sometimes I would deliver it to him by hand. I do not know where the money came from,' he said.

Claiming that he is a victim and innocent, Çelik said, "If anything else comes to mind, I would be happy to help. I have also suffered financial and moral damages. I am a victim and I am innocent. This is all I have to say."
