Prosecutor who prepared the Muhittin Böcek indictment reassigned: He had joined in the prayer
The Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) had launched an investigation into Antalya Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Mehmet Akif Katırcı, who wrote the indictment for the detained Muhittin Böcek and joined in a prayer said for Böcek at an iftar dinner he attended.
Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Mehmet Akif Katırcı, who prepared the indictment for Muhittin Böcek and was the subject of an investigation launched by the HSK, has been appointed as a Public Prosecutor at the Antalya Regional Court of Justice under the newly published judicial appointment decree.
Katırcı's position was changed by the First Chamber of the HSK through the judicial appointment decree.

The First Chamber of the HSK published the judicial appointment decree; 12 individuals, including provincial chief public prosecutors and court presidents, were appointed to their new positions. Katırcı was moved from his position as Antalya Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor to the position of Public Prosecutor at the Antalya Regional Court of Justice.
