The Ankara West Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an ex officio investigation following videos and news reports on social media regarding the assault of children.

Security camera footage showing moments when children staying at a dormitory in Sincan, where religious education is provided, were assaulted by an instructor has appeared on social media. In the footage, the instructor is seen slapping the children.

According to DHA, the Ankara West Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an ex officio investigation following the videos and news reports on social media regarding the assault of children.
