Reactions continue against İbrahim Keloğlan, who tortured and killed a cat named Eros in Başakşehir, Istanbul.
In Istanbul's Başakşehir district, a tragic incident that occurred at the 'Ağaoğlu My World Europe' residential complex in the early hours of January 1, around 03:15, has caused great sorrow. An individual named İbrahim Keloğlan carried out a shocking attack on a cat named Eros that he encountered within the complex. In the horrific incident that began in the elevator, Keloğlan started kicking the cat and continued to torture it by cornering it inside the apartment building. As a result of this horrific attack, the cat named Eros lost its life.
RECEIVED A GOOD CONDUCT REDUCTION
According to a report by Gazete Duvar, a lawsuit was filed against the suspect İbrahim Keloğlan, who was identified through security camera footage. However, in the hearing held on February 8, Keloğlan was released after receiving a good conduct reduction.
Following the decision, animal rights advocates organized a protest demanding Keloğlan's arrest. The group gathered at the 'Ağaoğlu My World Europe' complex and expressed their reactions by chanting slogans such as "We don't want a killer in our complex."
A resident of the complex stated that they are closely following the legal process and have come together to make their voices heard. Furthermore, they noted that the residents are collectively gathering signatures and demanding that the suspect be removed from the complex by the management. They emphasized that they absolutely do not want such a murder suspect in their complex.
