Protest against Ozan Güven in Bodrum

ORGANIZED PROTEST BY WOMEN'S PLATFORM
Approximately 50 women, members of the Bodrum Women's Platform and the Bodrum Women's Solidarity Association, gathered in front of the cultural center before the play. The group protested Ozan Güven, who was reportedly sentenced to 1 year and 15 months in prison for committing violence against Deniz Bulutsuz.
THEY SHOWED REACTION WITH BANNERS
During the demonstration, the women carried banners reading, "Did you create a woman-friendly city?", "Perpetrators of violence are on stage", "Do not be an audience to the perpetrator, be the voice of the victim" and "No applause for violence". The protesters continued their demonstration by sitting on the steps of the cultural center.
REACTION ALSO DIRECTED AT THE MUNICIPALITY
The protest criticized not only the artist but also the Bodrum Municipality, which provided the venue for the event. The participants protested the municipality for hosting such events.
TENSE MOMENTS EXPERIENCED
After the play began, some protesters entered the cultural center and attempted to head toward the stage. During this time, a brief tension occurred between the municipality's private security personnel and Ozan Güven's bodyguards.
Following the events, the women concluded their protest and left the front of the cultural center.
