Following a call by HÜDA PAR, the play titled Karımın Kocası (My Wife's Husband), staged by the State Theaters in Istanbul, was protested.

A crowd gathered in front of the Yenişehir City Theater, claiming the play was immoral and attempting to prevent it from being performed.

The group, which gathered in front of the theater building an hour before the performance began, demanded the cancellation of the play while chanting 'Allahu Akbar'.

While police teams took extensive security measures around the theater building, a brief tension occurred between the protesters and security forces.

Before the performance, the name of the play was changed to Evlilik Komedisi (Marriage Comedy) in an attempt to appease the reactions to the show.

However, this change on the posters was not enough to reduce the protesters' reaction.

While the performance continued as planned, the crowd waiting outside continued their protests in front of the theater building.
