In Akçakale, Şanlıurfa, District Public Education Director Mustafa Gündüz shot himself in his office with his service pistol. Staff members who entered the room upon hearing the gunshot found Director Gündüz covered in blood.
Gündüz was rushed to Akçakale State Hospital but could not be saved despite all interventions.
HE LEFT A LETTER
It was also revealed that Gündüz had left a 2-page letter to his relatives before committing suicide.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
