Publication ban on family massacre! He had murdered 7 people and committed suicide...

33-year-old Bahtiyar Aladağ killed his wife Sevim Aladağ, his 10-year-old child Arsal Aladağ, and his mother-in-law Türkan Soylu yesterday while they were having a picnic by Büyükçekmece Lake.

Bahtiyar Aladağ then went to the first-floor apartment of the 4-story building where his family lived. Arguing with his family there, Aladağ opened fire with the weapon he was carrying at his father Muhammet Aladağ (65), his mother Necmiye Aladağ (55), and his sister Buket Aladağ (30). Father Muhammet Aladağ and mother Necmiye Aladağ lost their lives at the scene, while his sister was injured.

At approximately 17:00, the assailant Bahtiyar Aladağ got into his vehicle with license plate 34 KSS 247 and went to a hair salon on Cemil Meriç Street in Avcılar. This time, Aladağ shot the business owner, Mehmet Salih Özsökük (30), with the weapon he was carrying. Barber Özsökük lost his life in the attack, while his wife's brother Gökhan Soylu (34) was seriously injured. Following the incident, Aladağ got into his vehicle and went to Esenyurt. At approximately 17:30, Aladağ also opened fire on his cousin Şadan Serdar Buke (33) on 853 Street in the Fatih neighborhood of Esenyurt. Buke, who was wounded, lost his life at the hospital where he was taken.

After getting into the car he was driving, Bahtiyar Aladağ ended his own life by shooting himself in the head.
