Published in the Official Gazette: Food ration list for soldiers in wartime conditions has changed

The Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Interior have updated the regulation regarding nutritional support during wartime conditions and emergency situations. The amendments made to Annex-1 of the current regulation, which was published on March 1, 2008, have been published in the Official Gazette along with the new food distribution table.

The regulation change details the quantities and types of food to be provided to TSK, Gendarmerie, and Coast Guard personnel in wartime and emergency situations. According to the two-day field load inventory ration table, the food to be provided for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the first and second days has been determined as follows:

BREAKFAST

It is planned that bakery products will be provided to personnel for breakfast over the two days. 500 grams of bakery products will be distributed every morning on the first and second days. This meal will also include 1 ready-to-eat meat-based food (200 grams). At the same time, 1 ready-to-eat vegetable oil-based food (200 grams) and 1 ready-to-eat dessert (100 grams) will be included in the breakfast meal.

LUNCH

For lunch, the amount of bakery products has also been set at 500 grams. In addition, 1 ready-to-eat meat-based food (200 grams) and 1 vegetable oil-based food will be provided for lunch. The dessert requirement for lunch will be met with 3 ready-to-eat desserts (100 grams). Furthermore, 2 electrolyte support products will be included.

DINNER

For dinner, bakery products will be 200 grams. At the same time, 1 ready-to-eat meat-based food, 1 vegetable oil-based food, and 1 ready-to-eat dessert will be distributed. 1 electrolyte support product will be provided along with water purification tablets.

The regulation entered into force on the date it was published in the Official Gazette. The provisions of this regulation will be executed jointly by the Minister of National Defense and the Minister of Interior.
