According to the appointment decision published in the Official Gazette, Bilecik Governor Şefik Aygöl has been appointed as the Tunceli Governor, replacing Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu. Beykoz District Governor Faik Oktay Sözer has been appointed as the new Bilecik Governor.
Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu, who also served as the trustee of the Tunceli Municipality, was recalled to the central government by the Ministry of Interior on May 20. The name appointed to replace Tekbıyıkoğlu has been published in the Official Gazette.
