Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu, who also served as the trustee of the Tunceli Municipality, was recalled to the central government by the Ministry of Interior on May 20. The name appointed to replace Tekbıyıkoğlu has been published in the Official Gazette.

Bilecik Governor Şefik Aygöl was appointed as the Tunceli Governor. Istanbul-Beykoz District Governor Faik Oktay Sözer was appointed to the Bilecik Governorship, which was vacated by Aygöl.
