Rahmi Koç reveals his most successful project

Rahmi Koç was very stylish as always.

Until the last 5 years, Mr. Koç was known as a cold and distant person.

However, in recent years, I have been seeing him in a relaxed, decontracted mood.

This mood was also reflected in the speeches he gave at ceremonies.

I had used a remark he made at the opening of the Rahmi Koç Museum two weeks ago as the headline for my article, and it officially went viral.

He had said, “I have worked in jobs that earned money throughout my life, but the final period of my life is spent on three jobs where I don't earn a single penny.”

This remark was so well-received that Koç University Board of Trustees Chairman Nur Yalman also referenced those words in his speech at the ceremony the other evening.

Mr. Rahmi said the following:

“We have very successful businesses. But none of them excite me as much as Koç University. That moment when these students toss their caps into the air at the graduation ceremony, nothing can take its place…”
