Reacted to arrest warrant, jumped from courthouse building
In the Ereğli district of Zonguldak, a suspect accused of drug trafficking threw himself from the second floor of the courthouse after learning that the court had issued an arrest warrant for him. The individual, who was seriously injured, has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
In an incident that occurred in the Ereğli district of Zonguldak, a suspect identified as S.K., who had been taken into custody, was brought before the criminal judgeship of peace at the Ereğli Courthouse this morning. As a result of an operation conducted by narcotics teams, 100 grams of narcotics and 45 synthetic pills were seized during a search of S.K.'s home. Following the detention procedures, an arrest warrant was issued for S.K. after being referred to the courthouse.
Upon learning that he had been arrested, S.K. unexpectedly headed toward a window on the second floor of the courthouse building following the hearing. The suspect suddenly opened the window and threw himself down, falling onto the concrete ground.
After officials at the scene immediately notified the 112 Emergency Health teams, the first intervention for the injured individual was performed in front of the courthouse.
