Reaction from People's Alliance partner to Ahmet Türk's 'Amedspor' post: 'What Kurdistan, damn it! This is the Republic of Turkey!'
Mustafa Destici, leader of the BBP, a minor partner in the People's Alliance, reacted harshly to DEM Party member Ahmet Türk, who posted, 'I am very happy, a team from Kurdistan has promoted to the Super League, I wish them success.'
DEM Party member Ahmet Türk, who recently watched the Mardinspor-Kahramanmaraşspor match alongside Mardin Governor Tuncay Akkoyun, who was appointed as a trustee in his place, made a post regarding Amedspor, the Diyarbakır representative that promoted to the Super League.
Türk's post, which read, "I am very happy, a team from Kurdistan has promoted to the Super League, I wish them success," sparked reactions.
The harshest reaction came from Mustafa Destici, Chairman of the Great Unity Party (BBP), a minor partner in the People's Alliance.
Destici stated, "What Kurdistan, damn it! This is the Republic of Turkey. If you don't like it, you can get out."
