Reaction to attack on those waiting for food aid
In Gaza, 112 Palestinians waiting for food aid were killed and 760 people were injured as a result of fire opened by Israeli forces. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey reacted harshly to Israel over the attack and issued a call to the world.
Israel has once again rained bullets on civilians in Gaza, which it has been keeping under blockade and attack for 146 days, driving it toward famine. An attack was carried out on hundreds of Palestinians waiting to receive humanitarian aid near the Nabulsi Junction in southern Gaza. In the attack, 112 people lost their lives and 760 people were injured.
TURKEY: WE CALL FOR AN END TO THE ATROCITY
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey reacted harshly to Israel and issued a call to the world. The statement from the Ministry said the following:
"By killing Palestinians at Nabulsi Square, Israel has added a new one to the crimes against humanity it is committing. The fact that Israel, which has condemned Gazans to starvation, has this time targeted innocent civilians in an aid queue is proof that it aims to consciously and collectively destroy the Palestinian people. Israel must immediately end its military operation in Gaza, but the Israeli Government does not possess the common sense and conscience to make this decision. The whole world must see that the oppression taking place in Gaza is about to turn into a catastrophe that will have global repercussions beyond the region. In this context, we call on all parties that have influence over the Israeli Government to stop the atrocity taking place in Gaza."
