Recovery of bodies from under the rubble continues in Khan Yunis after Israeli army withdrawal!
In Gaza, the recovery of decomposed and dismembered bodies of Palestinians killed by the Israeli Army in the city of Khan Yunis continues from under the rubble.
Israeli soldiers' 4-month-long ground attacks on Khan Yunis left behind numerous bodies along roadsides, in streets, and in the rubble of homes.
Body parts were placed in black bags, funeral prayers were held, and they were then loaded onto vehicles to be transported to hospitals before burial.
Because the bodies were dismembered and decomposed, their exact numbers could not be determined.
The Palestinian Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced in a statement on April 9 that 409 bodies had been recovered from the southern city of Khan Yunis, as well as from Al-Shifa Hospital and its surroundings in Gaza, following the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the region.
