Referred to court with a request for arrest: Decision on Şile Mayor Özgür Kabadayı!
An arrest warrant has been issued for 5 people, including Mayor Özgür Kabadayı, who were detained as part of an operation targeting the Şile Municipality.
As part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the CHP-run Şile Municipality on charges of "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes," "extortion," "bribery," and "rigging bids," Mayor Özgür Kabadayı and 5 others had been detained.
Kabadayı, who was referred to the duty magistrate judge with a request for his arrest, was remanded in custody along with Oğuz Kaçmaz, Tuncay Tolga Özçakmak, Ali Şafak, and Evren Buçhan.
JUDICIAL CONTROL FOR ASLI KOTAN
The court ruled that Aslı Kotan be released under judicial control, requiring her to sign in at a police station.
