Regulation on Daycare and Childcare Centers Published in the Official Gazette

Making a statement on her social media account regarding the regulation, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş stated, "With our Regulation on Daycare and Childcare Centers, which has been published in the Official Gazette and entered into force, we have clarified the opening, licensing, and operational processes of daycare and childcare centers that have been or will be implemented by public institutions and organizations to serve our nation.

We have established physical and institutional standards that will protect the safety, health, and development of our children. We have regulated the criteria regarding the qualifications of institutional personnel. We have implemented regular monitoring and inspection systems through our provincial directorates. We have introduced sanctions and closure provisions for situations that put the safety of our children at risk.

We have ensured that data regarding the institutions, personnel, and children receiving services are tracked through a central information system. May it be auspicious and beneficial for our beautiful children and our great Turkish family."
