Journalist and presenter Reha Muhtar has made headlines this time due to a dispute he had at the airport. Muhtar, who frequently appears in tabloid news due to past events involving actress Deniz Uğur Gülener, caused a stir after missing his flight.
In the footage shared on social media, Muhtar was seen attempting to pass through the X-ray machine while talking on his phone. Upon being warned by security personnel, Muhtar reacted by saying, "I am talking on the phone, I am not coming."
"WHAT KIND OF OPPRESSION IS THIS?"
Displaying a very tense demeanor in the footage, Muhtar became angry at the guidance staff's warning. Turning to the employee, he said, "What kind of oppression is this? Where did you learn to oppress people in your life?" It was noted that the former Show TV main news anchor continued his remarks by saying, "Did you learn it from your mother, did you learn it from your father, or did you learn it from Show Haber?"
STATEMENT FROM THY: "ON THE BLACKLIST"
Following the spread of the incident on social media, Turkish Airlines Senior Vice President of Media Relations Yahya Üstün made a statement regarding the matter.
"Airport security rules apply to everyone's safety, and no exceptions are made. Reha Muhtar, who attempted to violate these rules before his flight and behaved inappropriately toward the staff on duty, is now on the blacklist for Turkish Airlines flights.
