It is alleged that Öztürk, who was detained alongside Mayor Hasan Mutlu during the operation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on September 13, was released under the provisions of "effective remorse."
A new development has occurred in the ongoing investigation into Bayrampaşa Municipality.
Chief of Staff Rıdvan Öztürk, who was arrested alongside Mayor Hasan Mutlu, has been released from prison after a detention period of approximately two months.
Following the instructions of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention warrants were issued for 48 people, including Mayor Hasan Mutlu, during an operation conducted on September 13.
In this context, Mutlu's Chief of Staff Rıdvan Öztürk was also detained and was sent to prison by the court on September 16.
According to the report published in Cumhuriyet, a new decision was made regarding the case yesterday evening. It was ruled that Öztürk, who had been in custody for about two months, be released.
Furthermore, allegations have surfaced that Rıdvan Öztürk was released within the scope of "effective remorse."
