Released after 248 days: Objection filed against Ayşe Barım's release!
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has filed an objection to the release of talent manager Ayşe Barım, who was being held in connection with the Gezi Park protests.
Ayşe Barım, who was being tried on allegations of being one of the planners of the Gezi Park protests and was accused of "aiding in the attempt to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey," had been released from prison yesterday by court order.
However, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has filed an objection against Barım's release. Barım had been in custody for 8 months.
