Remarkable remarks from Celal Şengör about Erdoğan: 'Whatever topic you take up...'

Prof. Dr. Celal Şengör was a guest on journalist Özlem Gürses's YouTube channel.

During the program, which touched upon the declining fertility rate and the alarming population issue, Özlem Gürses recalled the child and birth subsidies announced by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Prof. Dr. Celal Şengör stated that there is no subject on which he and Erdoğan think alike. Furthermore, Şengör noted that he and President Erdoğan hold completely opposite views.

"WE THINK COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY"

Regarding the matter, Prof. Dr. Şengör said, "If I could find a subject on which I could think the same as the President... No, there is none at all. Whatever topic you take up, we think completely differently".

Şengör also added, "I have never met Erdoğan in my life".

HE EXPLAINED THE REASON HE LIVES IN TURKEY

Answering Özlem Gürses's question, "Why do you live in Turkey?", Şengör said, "Because my family's wealth is here; I live off the fat of the land".
