The Ministry of National Defense has announced that the liquid fuel technology used in the Yıldırımhan Long-Range Missile System was developed using domestic resources. The ministry's statement noted that the fuels used in the system can be stored for long periods, operate at low temperatures, and provide high mobility to the missiles, while also reporting that the system has a 3-ton warhead carrying capacity.
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has issued a statement regarding the Yıldırımhan Long-Range Missile System. The ministry's post included technical details regarding the fuel technology used in the system.
The statement indicated that the liquid fuels, specifically Unsymmetrical Dimethylhydrazine (UDMH) and nitrogen tetroxide derivatives used in the missile system, were produced with domestic resources at R&D centers affiliated with the MSB.
“PROVIDES HIGH MOBILITY”
The ministry's statement also drew attention to the advantages that the developed fuel technology provides to missile systems.
The MSB stated that the liquid fuels in question have the feature of being storable for long periods and offer operational flexibility due to their ability to function at low temperatures.
The statement further emphasized that the fuel technology, which has a high energy production capacity, grants missile systems high mobility.
