A group proposal submitted by the İYİ Party and CHP to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) "to investigate allegations that preparations have begun for the privatization of Bosphorus bridges and certain highways, and to determine the economic, financial, and social consequences of such privatization, considering the strategic importance of these assets—which provide high and stable revenue—in terms of future public income," was rejected by the votes of the AKP and MHP.
