In Bursa, the CHP Yıldırım district organization has been shaken by a resignation earthquake. Nine board members, reacting against District Chair İlhami Gün, announced their resignations.
Following the resignations, the district administration fell. According to the report in Sözcü, the resigning board members stated that they were excluded from decision-making processes. Claiming that District Chair İlhami Gün was trying to manage the organization like a boss, the members decided to leave their posts.
As a result of the resignations, the district administration fell due to a lack of sufficient board members.
The names who resigned from the Yıldırım District Presidency Board are as follows:
Rüstem Toksöz, Muhammet Karasu, Burak Celep, Sibel Demirbaş, Semih Esen, Sevda Kayışoğlu, Alişan Kılıç, Fatih Yılmaz, and Nimet Gündüz.
